What are your thoughts on the Victorian wage subsidies?

Victorian businesses that hire new employees from key priority groups (including women over 45 years and long-term unemployed job seekers) are now able to claim wage subsidies of up to $20,000 under a new program launched by the Victorian government in March 2021 (https://www.smartcompany.com.au/coronavirus/stimulus/jobs-victoria-fund-20000-wage-subsidies-businesses)
